Anonymous Proxy

Trying to get more control about what my users are doing on internet, this week I released a new rule on squid to avoid anonymous proxy. I know that it is almost impossible to block all anonymous proxies, but I am trying to block them when the users start to use it. I started a list with ten sites and now I have a lot of them, and this list is growing up fast. I am thinking about write some regular expression to avoid a large anonymous proxies list. For now I am showing you all the list (for those who does't know any site). This list is a result of my experiencie with MY USERS. If they discover a new anonymous proxy, they use it for one day and have to look for another one. As they are not expert users for me it is enougth. But maybe a "full" list will be needed on future. I am blocking the following sites (feel free to comment this adding a new site to the list):

Abstracting

I am working hard these days, a lot of things to do on my work and a lot of things to study. I am working a lot with routers (cisco and 3com) using Frame-Relay protocol and some ISDN interfaces as backup. This week I closed all my bugs on debian project and fixed debian/watch files on my packages. That's all for now. I have more work to do and a lot of personal things to do.

debian working

I am trying to fix a FTBFS (failed to build from source) non reported bug on snes9express. It is almos finished, but skins are not working yet. I tried to compile it on another machine and it gives me the following error message:

fakeroot debian/rules clean
/usr/bin/fakeroot: debian/rules: /usr/bin/make: bad interpreter: Permission denied

It was hard to find a solution but I the problem was on my /home directory.
I was mounting it on fstab from a volume without exec option. Now everything is working and I can try to fix the bug to upload it later.

bug statistics

looking for some debian stuff on google I found a very nice link about my bug statistics on debian. It is using my old maintainer mail but it is very interesting. You can see my status on:

things that I'm working on

hey all, it is rainning today and I am spending my time on some debian projects. Yesterday I uploaded hardinfo to debian. Hardinfo 0.4 is cool, Leandro did a very good work on it. Benchmarks needs some improvement but it is already very usefull. hardinfo2 will make hardinfo-0.4 obsolete but I think that this needs some time to happen. If you want to see hardinfo in action you can access http://hardinfo.berlios.de and see some screenshots. When leandro release hardinfo2 I intend to propose to gnome project to include it on gnome.
I am working on a replication project too. No I am not writing a new tool, I'm just writing some documentation about replication on Linux. I am testing some solutions for reduce my servers downtime and I will release this documentation as soon as my solutions become more professional.
For today is only this. I am too lazy these days, and I learned that you have to spend more time thinking and less time working . And you work more doing this. See you all
